Questions and answers
What is iScanCV?
iScanCV is an AI career tool. It scores and reviews your CV, compares it with a job description, lists jobs you can apply for, and lets you practise interviews with an AI interviewer.
Is the CV checker free?
You can start for free: upload your CV and get your score without creating an account, and a free account includes one free scan every month. A single scan can be unlocked for a one-time payment, or a daily, weekly or monthly pass unlocks everything for its time. Passes are prepaid and do not renew.
Does iScanCV check if my CV is ATS-friendly?
Yes. Every CV scan includes an ATS-friendliness check and a keyword analysis, so you can see how an applicant tracking system is likely to read your CV and what to change.
How do I match my CV to a job description?
Upload your CV, choose to compare it with a job, and paste the job description. iScanCV returns a match score, the missing keywords and skills, and suggestions for tailoring your CV to that job.
Does it work for resumes as well as CVs?
Yes. iScanCV reviews both CVs and resumes. Upload the document as a PDF file.
Can I practise for a job interview?
Yes. The AI interview coach asks questions for the role you are preparing for and gives you feedback on your answers. It is included in every pass.
Who can see my CV?
Your CV is processed to produce your results and is not shared with employers. The Privacy Policy in the app explains what is stored and which providers handle it.
